The Nx-ON Antimicrobial Technology is a stable aqueous solution of patented technology which produces a durable microbiostatic agent coating on a broad range of textiles and many other surfaces. The chemistry of the Nx-ON antimicrobial is unique. A conventional quaternary ammonium salt (organo) is chemically spliced to a silane molecule, resulting in a highly active molecule (3-trimethoxsilylpropyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride) that has both tenacious bonding capabilities as well as excellent antimicrobial properties. These chains of atoms carry a strong positive charge that attracts negatively charged bacteria.
